This is my 5th year in 4H and the first time taking a lamb project. The reason I chose a lamb project was to do three projects and try to compete for the herdmens buckle. I chose a steer, heifer and a lamb. After getting my lamb I quite enjoy having them around as they are fun to work with and easy to train because of their size. When I first got him he didn't really enjoy people because he was scared. I kept him in my goat pen so he would have a buddy however my goats were mean to him and I had to buy a buddy lamb and they are best friends. I sit with them in the shed until they are done eating and to stop the goats from eating their grain. This seemed to calm them down a lot as they got used to me.
As you will see in our sale listing I also have a steer project that I have raised.
I encourage buyers to join our online sale this year through a timed auction and hope you enjoy the animals we have raised for our sale. I would also like to "Thank" all past buyers and sponsors that have continued supporting 4H every year.
If you have any questions about my lamb or the sale please contact me at 780-228-7635.
Thank you
