MOO |
This is my 4th year in 4-. in all 4 years I have done beef, lamb and swine. I'd have to say I enjoined my beef the most, as I learned a lot.
Steers for sure take the most work. To halter break one of these big guys can be hard work. Especially to get them quiet enough to have a snooze with (see below)!
When it is snowy/cold/muddy/wet pens and gates still need to opened and accessed. Sometimes this is a lot of shoveling! Food and water still need to be given twice a day, There is not a day off with a 4-H animal.
These 4-H animals are the best when it comes to good quality, responsibly grown, meat for your family. I know you will be happy if you buy my Steer.
