TENNIS |
This is my 1st year in 4-H.
I chose my steer because he was very friendly as a calf. When he was a baby calf, we taught him to eat pieces of bread from our hands out in the pasture. Ever since Tennis has been an in-your-pocket kind of guy.
Tennis got his name because his original tag number in his ear was 10G, and I use to always say 'Ten is friendly'. Ten is turned to Tennis, and it stuck.
I joined 4-H because both of my older sisters have been in 4-H for the past 3 years and I've been waiting until I was old enough to join as well.
I've enjoyed spending time with my friends at the meetings and events that 4-H has hosted.
Even though it was scary, my groups presentation got 2nd place at Public Speaking.
