This is my 3rd year in 4H. The reason I chose a steer project is because I really liked raising one last year and I wanted to learn more about how to show them. I really enjoyed the Achievement Day Show and Sale last year so I'm pretty sad that we can't have one this year.
Cowboy is a pretty nice, laid back steer. He's been good to work around and eats well. My greatest enjoyment is riding horses so Cowboy is pretty used to me riding my horse around him on a daily basis!
I would like to invite buyers to join our online/timed auction this year if you're interested in some good quality beef for your freezer!
