Hi I am Keston Humbke and this is my 2nd year in 4H. I joined 4H this year as I did it last year and had a lot of fun and to learn more about animals. I took two projects this year, one being my steer as well as a heifer.
I enjoy showing my calf at Achievement Day, the preparation to getting him ready for show day is just as much fun. My steer this year is like the one I had last year and they are both super quiet and easy to work with (even the same colour). He lets me pet him in the pen and I am also trying to get him to let me ride him. Last year I placed 1st in our Club Confirmation Class with my steer.
This year I also chose to do a heifer project but with the current situation we won't be having a show for them. I did get to participate in the Peace Country Beef Congress in January with her, which I really enjoyed and had a lot of fun.
I encourage buyers to join our online sale this year through a timed auction and hope you enjoy the animals we have raised for our sale. I would also like to "Thank" all past buyers and sponsors that have continued supporting 4H.
If you have any questions about my calf or our sale please call me at 780-228-7635.
Thank you
